Train station parking - Dorking/Guildford

We will be moving back to Surrey soon but have not yet picked an area. It is likely to mean that I will have to commute from either Dorking or Guildford into London and will probably need to drive to the train station.

Please could someone tell me what parking is like at Dorking and Guildford at about 7-8am please? I may be able to adjust my working hours so I start earlier if it means I get a parking space but I'm worried I'm going to move somewhere a drive from the station and then discover that I cAnt get to work!

If there are any other stations that you know to be better then please do suggest. Thank you.

The station car park in Dorking is usually full by 7.30am.
I normally drive to Leatherhead and join the train there. It's a bit of a slower train, but you are normally guaranteed parking and a seat on the train! The ticket is a few pounds cheaper too.
