Coming to Southampton in April

Hi there,
My two girls, 6 & 4 and I will move to Southampton this April.
I just wondered if you could give me advice for schools, child minders and housing areas etc. Everything really :o)
I'm a single mum and work full time and will be working in the centre.
Bitterne Park Primary was recommended but I was not sure it is a good area to live in or if to try to live a little further away?
Any advice would be really appreciated. Thank you!!!
