quiet swimming pool

Hi,

Does anybody know if there is a swimming pool near cambridge that is quiet on Saturday mornings? I would like to teach my son to swim but we're finding that the learner pools are very busy at the weekend and school nights are too tiring for him. I wondered if there might be a pool in the villages that would be pleased to have a few new customers come along early on a Saturday.

I'd have thought that Saturday morning would be a prime time for young swimmers. Seals Swimming has only 6 per class and runs classes on Saturdays if that's any help www.sealsswimming.co.uk/.

Thanks, I've been looking into it and it seems as if we're going to need to rejig our day so we can go in the afternoon. I gather that that's really the only quiet time.

saturday afternoons at IVC are not too busy and the kids like the fun session.

The quietest time we've found is Sunday (not Saturday) at Abbey between 4 and 6 (when they shut) when we often have the pool almost to ourselves.
