My family and I are considering a move to the countryside from London. We're looking at villages that are a short drive (15 mins or less) to Ashford so my husband can get the fast train to London. Also we have two young children so a great primary school is important, and we'd like to be quite rural but with a nice village nearby. We've been looking at Charing, Challock, Wye and Aldington. Any experiences of these or similar? many thanks....
