Applying for Primary School places - did anyone else have this?

Hello!

I applied online for a reception place for DS3 in October, but am a bit bothered by the fact I wasn't given the chance to apply for more than one school. Anyone else had this?

It shouldn't be a problem because I've had an acknowledgment, we live pretty close to the school and I've cited the fact his siblings already attend.

But it's a bit weird, no?

I'm thinking I've not filled the form in properly. I emailed the admissions department last month to check but I've not heard back.

Just wondering if other parents only got one choice of school if they cited siblings?

I'm sure this going-to-school thing should be more straightforward! How is everyone else faring?

I thought that across birmingham everyone applied to 3 schools. I would rung admissions and check. When u rang them tgey were able to tell me my 3 choices in a matter of minutes. It put my mind at ease to know I had done it correctly.
