Balham Lesuire Centre creche has been a lifeline for many young parents for many years, and I used it a lot when I had babies. But last summer it was moved to a temporary room, then on Monday 'closure with immediate effect' was announced by email. Earlier that day lots of mums and a dad had held a protest to support the creche and we know demand for the creche is really high.
Over 100 people have signed the petition - please join them and we'll give it to Wandsworth Council to support a re-opening of this vital local creche.
