Commuting from Tunbridge Wells?

I currently live in Sevenoaks and we're considering moving back to Tunbridge Wells as we prefer the area and our in-laws live there too. My (daft-ish) question is around how people get to work if they commute into London using the train. We previously lived in Mount Sion and near Dunorlan Park so used to walk to the train station. This was before I had my son...so lots more to think about in relation to our morning routine! He's currently with a lovely childminder in Sevenoaks who lives near the station - and we can walk to Dunton Green or Sevenoaks train stations (or park when we need to). I know from looking at houses/areas previously that we may not be within walking distance from the station (eg Warwick Park, Langton Green) so need to give this some thought. I would appreciate any advice from your experience. Thank you

I get the bus to the station. Some people park in the car park above Morris ons which is a lot better than it used to be.

I live in Mount Sion. I'm not commuting at the moment but have a) walked to to mainline TW station or b) when I've had to drop DD off for holiday care, have parked at High Brooms and bought a weekly ticket (cheaper parking than Morrisons). Or, as pudseypie says, parked at Morrisons - the shop is closing on 4th March but the car park is owned by TWBC so charges should stay the same.

Hello! Can anyone offer an insight into what the trains from T Wells to London are like between 7 and 8am? On a scale of 1 to 'sardines'.

My girlfriend and I are looking to move here, and would be interested to know if there's any chance of a seat.
