Hi, My Year 2 daughter has been diagnosed with dyslexia which is a relief as explains why the poor little girl has been struggling so much. Does anyone know of any schools in Berkshire, particularly Wokingham/Reading where there is a more specialist provision for dyslexics. Many thanks.

Are you prepared to look at the independent sector or do you want a state school?

Hi. I would prefer private due to class size. Already in independent but need to check all my options.

For those parents who have dyslexic children in school this course in Maidenhead is highly recommended. This course wasn't available when my son was in primary school, but I have since done it. It would have been so very helpful if I'd have known what I know now!

Their next course 'Understanding Dyslexia' (a course for Parents), starts in January.
