Project Shoebox is a volunteer run organisation supporting women and children escaping domestic abuse and living in refuges over Christmas, we do this by collecting donations of toiletries, sanitary wear and cosmetics to make up start again gift boxes.
Many women arrive at these refuges with very little with them, and just a few simple products can go a long way to making them feel happier, more secure and, above all, cared for during what is a very difficult time.
We would be so very grateful if any of you wonderful people could make up a shoebox of items or simply spare a tube of toothpaste to help us fill our gift boxes this year. Even just a share of our Facebook page on your social media feeds, blogs, in emails can have a huge positive impact.
