Hi we have just moved to fishponds, and have to put down our school choices for our 3 yr old. We thought fishponds academy but our house is close enough to Steiner to get in (probably). Steiner is probably a little alternative for us but we don't know anyone who sends their kids to fishponds academy. Help! Thank you x

I really would recommend that you go and look round both schools to see which one would be the most suitable for your child.
Steiner schools are very different from ordinary schools and so you really need to be sure about what it is like and whether it would suit you before listing it on your form.
I am in a different area of Bristol so cannot comment on these schools but it is more important to make sure the school suits your child than that they are with children they know. At this age children make new friends very quickly and it is possible to stay in touch with others through extra curricular activities.
