Hello,

Looking for information about girls or co ed schools you think are good in richmond / barnes areas. Daughter is mildly dyslexic but a very motivated learner.

Love to hear your ideas

Try the private primary schools in Kew. They are smaller and I know some of them have good learning support. Kew House, Broomfield House School and Unicorn are all worth a call. Arrange a visit and go on your gut feeling. Most private schools have occasional places higher up the school as families move out of London or abroad so it is always worth putting the call in. I always thing you can learn a lot from the friendliness of the response to your first call!

With a dyslexic child I would always opt for a state option if available. Unfortunately most private schools are much worse at supporting children with SEN than the equivalent state options. You are near tons of good schools. Go and talk to them!
