Pleeeeeeease can you help?
My friend has been transferred to the spinal unit, Salisbury Hospital after suffering a life changing accident. Her injuries mean that she will never walk again. As a beautician, she has endeavoured to maintain her lashes while in hospital and is now at the stage where she needs them done professionally. She has emailed other mobile beauticians and hasn't heard back. I guess people are put off and unaware that it would be no different to working with a client who is lying down rather than sitting! Kate is very upbeat, positive and funny - so there wouldn't be any challenges there. Her appearance is very important to her and after all, why should these things change just because she's in hospital? The staff have said they are more than happy for somebody to come in and carry out treatments - so I guess I'm getting the ball rolling. It's her Birthday next week and I just want to be able to write in a card that she has some lashes coming!!
Is there ANYBODY out there prepared to work at a hospital bed? If you're unable to, please feel free to let me know of anyone else who may be able to - this is all Kate has to make her time in hospital that little bit 'beautiful'. Thank you :)
