Beaumont secondary school - English class sets

Can anyone tell me if Beaumont secondary school set their English classes by ability in year 9.

I went to an Open Day last year and they were really very adamant about the fact that they didn't set for English. They believe the better kids help the strugglers to improve. So would be surprised if they do. Why not ask them?
