Just wanted to let local mums know that on 12th Sept there is a demo in George Square at 2.30 called "Glasgow Sees Syria" to let our government know that we're not happy with the official position they hold on refugees getting into the uk.
I've got quite a few friends who came from Rwanda/Burundi/Congo on the 90s/early 2000s when Glasgow opened our doors to them. I'll be at the demo because as a mum I can't bear seeing children drowned as their parents try to get them a life away from war and conflict.
If enough want to go, maybe we can meet up?
