Elmers End?

Hi all, can anyone tell me about the area in and around Elmers End Road? We are looking to move to be in the catchment of the Langley Schools. We have seen a couple of houses on Elmers End Road and nearby roads but not sure what it's like as an area to live in. Many thanks!

I have friends who live half way between Elmers End and Eden park. They moved to the area for the same reason (schools) but a long time ago and I think catchments have got smaller since. They've been very happy there and I've met up with them at Sal's cafe which does excellent food - even if the rest of the parade there is looking a bit run down. Main gripes I hear about is lack of parking - depending on the road and house type it can be a nightmare. They've got a terrace and converted their drive but with teenagers and most houses having several cars it can be an issue.

Hey thanks, that's helpful! The catchment is a mile. We saw a house recently and it was obvious parking is an issue. We've been looking for ages but nothing has come out way yet. Keeping fingers crossed! X
