Clay castles, sea-shore prints, grotesque models in the style of Goya, salt-dough Christmas decorations... these are just some of the fab and fun things children will be making at the Creative Sunday workshops held at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts in the next few months
The Barber - based at the University of Birmingham in Edgbaston - runs weekly Sunday art classes for children. There are two sessions: one for 4- to 8-year-olds olds; and one for 8- to 15-year-olds olds.
The sessions are lots of fun and open to ALL abilities; children learn some really brilliant skills, and it's a great way to introduce children to art and museums.
Places are much in demand and cost £5 per child per session - but Mumsnet Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield has TWO places to give away. They can either to be used by 2 children at one workshop, or one child for two workshops of your choice.
So if your child has a creative streak (and let's face it, most of them do!) enter our brilliant competition.
All you have to do is tell us your child's favourite artistic activity. Be it play dough, colouring in, or model-making, we want to hear about it. You could even make them really proud of their efforts by uploading a picture of it!
Competition ends at 10am on Friday September 25.
