I wonder if anyone has experience with this school? If so I would love to know your impressions please, past or present. Thank you

My kids did not go there but a friend of mine recently sent her daughter there for a year while she waited for a place at St Matthews. It is supposedly the most fast improving school in Cambridge and has great facilities.

My friend was very impressed but did eventually move her daughter as St Matthews was nearer her house.

thanks so much Tournesol.... St Matthews and St Phillips are also options.. do you think they are much better? St Matthews seems to have very limited outdoor space!

My children have been through Abbey Meadows from reception and the eldest has just left year 6.

We've been very happy with it. It's a large school, but it feels like a small school - everyone knows each other and the level of engagement with each child as an individual is exceptional. The teachers are incredibly highly committed and there has been some inspirational teaching, especially lower down the school. My children are both doing well.

During the time my children have been there it's gone from inadequate to good in Ofsted terms, and I'd agree that lots has improved. But the essence of the school, its absolutely tremendous belief in and care for each of its children has remained the same. It has excellent facilities and a truly vast playing field. I'd recommend it without reservation.
