Moving to redhill next week - need a school for my son starting reception

Any recommendations?
We are catholic so will put at jospehs as number 1 however have been asked to put 4.
So confused and worried x

It depends where in Redhill you are, and also where has a space as there is a shortage of reception places in the Redhill area, some good schools to try are Wray Common, St Johns, Sandcross, Dovers Green. I'd try and avoid Salfords and St Matthews but thats just a personal opinion.

I've applied for a list of schools with possible vacancies and there is not one within 5 miles :(

No, it's awful around here. We live walking distance to about 5 schools, we put 4 of them on our list, we got allocated an awful school 5 miles away! It's not just because you have just moved into the area, even people who have followed the school allocation process haven't been given a local school!
