I want to buy a cool looking traditional Smeg range cooker but am torn between it and a Lacanche. Althought the Smeg (TR4110) has receie3d many rave reviews from retailers, not to mention the Which Best Buy award in 2014, I've seen a lot of crap reviews for Smeg ovens in general. I have yet to read one bad review on the Lacanche, apart from the fact that it's mega expensive! I bought a range cooker 10 years ago for aesthetic reasons only and it's totally crap - I've had nothing but trouble with it, the biggest one being that it takes hours to heat up and the temperature plummets if you open the door for a millisecond! I really don't want to make the same mistake again. Is anyone out there using a Smeg 4110?
