Hello are there any reasonably priced private schools with the 1000-3000 pounds per term range in Bristol? Looking for a school for my 11yr old son.

Any help is appreciated as I am not from Bristol.

Thanks

I think the simple answer ro your question is probably 'no'. All the private schools in Bristol are around the £4000 per term bracket - unless of course you qualify for a bursary. However if your son needs to start in September most schools will have already allocated their bursary money by now. The schools are Q.E.H. Bristol Grammar, Colstons, Clifton High and Clifton College. You could try putting yourself on the waiting list for Bristol Cathedral School which used to be private but became an academy a while ago. It's still small and has maintained it's ethos and still achieves good results. You also don't need to live in a catchment to apply.

Thank you very much. I saw that in my research but was still hoping for less.

Hello
Currently going through a stressful time. I'm a very nervous mother about a school change for my oldest child.
Daughter about to join Yr 3 at St. John's in Clifton. Just wondering if anyone has a child there. Looking for any thoughts, advice etc
