I am originally from Wigan but not lived there for many years so out of touch with things there. I am going to be meeting up with a friend (who does not live in Wigan so doesn't know either) there soon with her kids (3) and mine (4 & 7).
What are the options for kids to have a bit of a run around & play then lunch nearby - is Mesnes Park any good? Or Haigh Hall perhaps? Plus a rainy day option would be good too
does not need to be central as both travelling by car - me from Pemberton side and friend from Chorley
