Hi all,

Hoping this is in the right place - this is for all the SE London / Kent borders people.

I'm in Blackheath but can travel easily!

Smile

Hello all, I'm in bexleyheath, no car but a dab hand with public transport Smile

BlondeOnRed · 11/08/2015 10:09

It's me IcaMorgan (for some reason it shows me under a different ID over here)

I live in Lee but can travel as long as it's all wheelchair accessible (transport and venue)

Ahemily · 11/08/2015 10:13

Brilliant, I think I must be about halfway between you both!

Good morning all Smile
I'm in the backend of nowhere Thamesmead and am happy to travel. I am a bit socially awkward when sober but I'm quite the social butterfly with a bit of liquor Grin

Ahemily · 11/08/2015 10:33

Haha, fairygodfucker, aren't we all?! I'm pregnant at the moment, so unable to partake, but come January I'll be all over it! Grin

Ah Thamesmead, home to the worlds scuzziest soft play Grin

I'm half tempted to crack open the wine now, planned a silly over the top garden party for DS's first birthday on Sunday. And it's going to rain. And I can't fit 50 people in my house. And I've hired soft play and a sodding bouncy castle.

At what point do I panic and hire a hall? ConfusedConfusedConfusedConfused

Fairygodfucker · 11/08/2015 10:48

Cupcake you could take them to the tiger thing soft play area in Thamesmead then you'll never have to host another party again... Grin
I took the dc's once. Once was enough lol

Ahemily · 11/08/2015 10:58

The bloody weather is so unfair isn't it?! My DS's birthday is mid June and it's rained every sodding year so far. Angry We've had people in the house each year as we do a last minute relocation - lots of newspaper on the floor is my only tip!

I'm yet to try this soft play you both mention....sounds like I might give it a body swerve! Grin

Posted message and pfft it disappeared!!! Ahhhhhhh separate log in and NN for local der!!!!

I have no idea what is around greenwich except avery hill park which is next to uni.

I prefer to drive (kamikaze toddler) so parking nearby preferable.

Picnic, coffee, soft play, park anywhere toddler friendly and I'm there!!!

Cupcakes123 · 11/08/2015 11:09

I don't even what nickname the app is using for me but just to clarify, I'm both Nannyplum and cupcakes.

I am never going back to Tigers Eye, it's beyond rank. Chucked DS in the ball pool than hauled him back out when j realised it smells of feet. It's grim, don't go!
Used to like Gambados in Beckenham til they found a dead mouse in the ball pool Confused

I'm just going to do lots of sun dances between now and then. If you see a woman randomly dancing around the bexley area, it's very probably me

Ahemily · 11/08/2015 11:16

Dead mouse in the ball pool!!!! Shock

Hello fivesixths! Where are you based again?

OP posts:
Cupcakes123 · 11/08/2015 11:52

Yes. Dead. Mouse.
Confused

Fivesixthsamidwife · 11/08/2015 13:18

I'm in Basildon but in uni/placement in greenwich & dartford

Ahemily · 11/08/2015 14:30

Cupcake, I'm genuinely horrified! Shock Fivesixths, are you there every day?

I work FT but am currently spending Mondays at home with DS (aged 3) so if anyone fancies a coffee or equivalent on a Monday - and doesn't mind a toddler being there - let me know.

OP posts:
BlondeOnRed · 11/08/2015 14:48

Mondays are generally fine with me

Ahemily · 11/08/2015 15:35

Great, blonde! How are you fixed the week after next?

Any other takers?

OP posts:
Fivesixthsamidwife · 11/08/2015 16:19

We're back to uni that week - some weeks every day, others only 2/3 days.

Have nothing planned so I'm game - I too will have a toddler and a sullen 9yr old

Ahemily · 11/08/2015 16:38

Ooh good, a fellow toddler is great! How old is yours? A sullen 9 year old may be cheered up with cake?

OP posts:
BlondeOnRed · 11/08/2015 16:46

Is that the 24th? If so that's fine for me.

Riskit4aBiscuit · 11/08/2015 19:08

I'm shocked about Gambados, I've taken my niece & nephew there before and had no idea! Unfortunately I work full time but if something happens outside of standard working hours, let me know!

Ahemily · 11/08/2015 19:23

More than happy to do something outside of standard working hours too. Technically I am working on a Monday but 'from home' so can't stray too far from my phone!

OP posts:
BlondeOnRed · 11/08/2015 21:17

I can do the evening on the 24th too as well as during the day

Wellthatsaturnup · 12/08/2015 11:50

Hello! (I'm really tinkerbell shhh). I'm in Welling also no car but can get most places easily. I'm on maternity leave at the moment going back 4 days, much too soon for my liking.

Happy to meet up whenever and 24th is good. I have a 10 month old (currently spending today being sick, fab) and a 5 year old. Up for evening /weekend things too Grin

Ahemily · 12/08/2015 12:04

Hello wellthats! Ooh, back to work! How do you feel about it? Are you going back FT?

Sounds like an evening / weekend might suit people better, perhaps we could do something in the evening of 24th like blonde suggests?

I have a car so can travel easily, where's a good place between us all? I've been here 18 months and am still rubbish!

Hope your littlest is on the mend soon!
