Following on from the making friends thread that's started. Would anyone be interested in meeting up with some Edinburgh MNers?

I was thinking maybe the botanic gardens for a meet up but with this weather it might be a bit risky? Any other suggestions of where we could go?

Me to maybe? Would Chamber St Museum work, then if it is nice we could decamp to the Meadows for picnics?

Trying to rack my brain for a big indoor space...

I'd love to meet up too. I'm 37 and have 5 DC. I'm from Edinburgh but live in Dunfermline now.

Fancy having a laugh when meeting up? I am doing a comedy stand up show at the fringe called 'mummy's gone a bit parental' it's all about how nutty it is being a mum (I have 2 boys) you are really welcome to bring babies/young ones (the material is aimed at adults, but I'll keep it clean!!). There is pram parking, baby changing, breastfeeding welcome!! I am doing it in aid of edinburgh sick kids and maggies cancer centres but if you say the code word 'wibble' at the box office you will get free entry. It's 12.40 pm-1.30 pm 17-29 (not 23) August. (cafe at venue/do bring food into the show) venue 236 which is greenside infirmary street. Please spread the word ???? xxx

Oooh yes when shall we meet? Might be difficult due to work and the such. My shifts are fine as I work early mornings then a few hours Saturday, but harder for those who do ft.
Also children of all ages. Mine are at school but happy to tag along to somewhere better for little ones. Or do we do an evening?
Someone decisive is needed!

Hamnvik · 19/08/2015 09:03

Shall we make it a weekend at the botanics then? Although saying that I am away on Sunday and the next weekend. 5/6th of Sept any good?

Iklemma, I just saw this too - but would love to meet up with people if you guys are up for another! I'm in south Queensferry, but could easily come into Edinburgh. I'm 14 weeks, first baby, and I'm from the US but just moved back to Scotland after living near London for 5 years.
