PheasantPlucker you're quick off the mark. I was going to flag this up to our Book Group (and the wider local Mumsnetter community of course!), and suggest we go along to some of the events. There's usually some type of 'Pub Quiz' type event that I'd been keen on getting a Mumsnet Merton team together for! Any takers???

Apparently the M Sawyer night was great - I was volunteering in the Big Tent that night so missed it.

Thanks for letting us know, DeccaMitfordEntryVisa. I think next year we need to get our act together sooner. DH did manage to see the Peter Snow talk on The Battle of Waterloo though.

Ah, I was also helping out on the Saturday afternoon, so might have seen him!

I caught the end of a beautiful reading of some Yeats after that, with a harpist, in The William Morris Tent. It was rather magical.
