Science teaching

Our DD is a keen scientist and we have a place for her to study Science A levels at Portsmouth Grammar School, St Catherines School Guildford, King Edwards Witley and Frensham Heights, Surrey. We are new to the area (DD has been studying in Moscow). Each school impresses us with the range of extra curricular activities but for us the quality of science teaching is the vital criterion. Does anyone have a view on how these schools compare on that score? Much obliged!

If you are in Guildford area, I would go for St Catherine's. Portsmouth is a long commute. Frensham is very "alternative" and possibly better at Arts, especially theatre and music. King Edward's isn't as highly academic.

Thank you, much appreciated. Sorry to delay in saying so - I was travelling.
