Waiting lists and home schooling

Hello I'm new on here.

Is anyone in the same situation as us ?

We didn't get the schools we wanted last year (reception) for my DD. we have been on the waiting lists for both schools in hove since then and have gone up and down the list. Now my DD is nearly turning 5 we have to have her in education by law we have decided on homeschooling until we get a space at our local schools.

Has any one homeschool in Brighton/hove area?

Go this site and join the Yahoo group. You can then access a a list on the database of local groups and look through the archives - there is alot going on around the place. You can post on their group too. There is a group near shoreham called SHEd who run fun and educational stuff for younger kids and park meet ups around the place too.
