St Albans near the station area - how safe?

Hello everyone! We are looking at the houses in St Albans at Flora Grove area. Since it is very close to the station I wanted to ask if this area is safe enough. I would also need to get my daughter to school at Harpenden. Does any one know how bad the traffic is in the morning? I thought this should take no more that 20 min? Thank you for any feedback!

I'd say safe- it's a nice road full of families. The drive would be slow though - is train an option as you wld be 1 min from train station and it's only 3 min to Harpenden!
