Hello, lovely ladies Smile
We are moving to London this summer and my DD is 16 years old. Since she hasn't sat GSCE exams and, as we were told various times, she is too old to do so, we are left with only one college - RuTC. I have spoken with the principal and he is OK with the fact that my DD hasn't sat GSCE exams and that they would accept my DD to study there. However I have received a fair mixture of opinions about RuTC - both good and bad, and I would love to have some kind of an insight in the life of this college, such as teachers, facilities, students, and other stuff. I would appreciate it if some of you that have/had your DD/DS at RuTC would share about their (and your) experience about this college. A huge thank you! Smile

P.S. Sorry if I made any mistakes - English language is not my native language Smile

Hi Graps,
I'm sorry - I don't know anything about RuTC. But I'm very surprised that you are not able to apply for any other schools. If you haven't done so already, I would recommend that you talk to the school admissions people in Richmond Council. Fiona Churchouse in particular is very knowledgable and used to dealing with people arriving from overseas.

Sorry if you've already done this - I'm just so surprised that there's no way for them to take account of qualifications from other countries.
Good luck!
