Knaresborough?

Hello again,

I posted before about considering moving up north. After even more research, Hubby and I are very interested in Knaresborough. Just wanted some opinions from locals.

What do you think of Knaresborough? Any areas to avoid..? Happy with the schools..? Are there things to do with children..?

Anything you think may be worth knowing I'd love to hear it.

Thanks for posting your question. Ambassador Emma runs our Mumsnet meet-up group covering Harrogate and Knaresborough. Why don't you drop her a message (you can do so by clicking into this meet-up group on the meet-up page). I am sure she will give you her ear-to-the-ground thoughts and/or might be able to put you in touch with other people from that specific area.
My own experience of Knaresborough is good and there seems to be a good community feel (an annual bed-pushing competition comes to mind which I think is held there!) but I am not close enough to it to give you specifics.
