Hitchin primaries

Hi Hitchin mums!
We are moving to the area from London with our Year 3 and Year 5 children. It looks like the only schools with vacancies are Wilshere-Dacre and Oughton, which both appear to have less-than-stellar Ofsteds. However, I know that Ofsted isn't everything, and I'd love to hear from anyone who has children at either school, or any other first-hand information. Thanks for your help!

I think all the schools in Hitchin are nice. It depends on where you are living which of these is most convenient. I've pm'ed you some more info.

Hiya, we're moving to hitchin on 1st June! We're almost there with our school application and hoping we get Strathmore (which is linked to wilshere d). Our boy is yr 1 at the mo. Not much help but we're in the same boat and can relate !! From what we've read, all schools do look nice :)
