we are looking at houses around Finchley area, in particular west Finchley near moss hall primary. The area seems nice and quiet. The high street is not particularly exciting but covers the needs for grocery shopping, restaurants, and etc. As we are new to the area, would be great to hear from people who live there: How does it feel living there? How does it compared to North Finchley? Is there a sense of community here? Any bad roads to avoid?
Also it seems that west Finchley seems a bit further away from secondary schools - do you have to move again for secondary schools?
Any other advices about Finchley area in general would also be welcome. Thanks in advance!
