Its the election on Thursday and again we have no women candidates for mayor. Is Bedford really that short of politically able women?
Instead we have the same cavalcade of male deadbeats that have infested the local scene for the last 30 years begging for your vote yet again.
This amused me. It concerns candidate Steve Low who you will remember as being editor at the infamous local rag "Bedfordshire On Sunday". It seems he has some female skeletons in his closet! I'm not sure I can vote for such an irresponsible father but he is a sort of cheeky chappie and lovable rogue.
