any architect recommendations?

Hi - could anyone please recommend a design/build company they've used for a house extension or refurb (or alternatively an architect that project managed it for them)? Would love to get a recommendation if possible rather than choose someone at random and hope for the best....thanks.

A late reply but if you're still looking for a building firm, please PM and I can recommend a company I used. They were sub contractors when I used them, but have started on their own - very good attention to detail, fair price (unlikely to be cheapest) and they were a joy to deal with. Most importantly, they finished the job and ensured everything was perfect before final payment. I have had many experiences with builders over the years, most not positive.
