Hello Mumsnetters,
So we have finally decided on Oxford High School for DDs, and now we have the pain pleasure, of deciding where to live. We are relocating, although I grew up in Oxford so know it well.
We are looking for fairly easy rail or road commute for DH to London (he could drive to Uxbridge for example) and a good drive into Summertown (where I will also be working) for the school run. Under 30mins?!
We'd like a nice village or a small town with a 'village' feel. Can't afford Oxford itself and would prefer to be north of the city for traffic reasons. Or if there's a way to bypass Oxford from areas in the south, west or east of the city then that would be good too!!
Please help! Open to all suggestions!!
