Primary schools in Solihull and catchment areas

Hello,
I would be very very grateful for any info on primary schools in Solihull. We are moving from Greater London to Solihull in July and need to find a school for DD who will be 4 next month. It has all happened rather quickly, new jobs, the move etc. And it certainly seems to be late for the school admissions calendar!

Have registered with Ruckleigh and Eversfield and they both have said no (as of now) as they apparently have a long waiting list. Does anyone have any experience of either of these schools please?

We are applying for the state schools as well via the late admissions route to Solihull local authority (through our current local authority, as we do not yet have an address in Solihull). The deadline is tomorrow, 30 April :-( And am totally lost on what school choices to give.

We will be renting. So, what areas should we be considering from a state school admissions point of view (assuming that catchment area is going to be the most important criteria for admission to a state school)

Any advice/info gratefully received.
Thanks a lot
