Hi, I moved to Merseyside a couple of years ago for work and haven't made any friends that I really "click" with yet. I've got DH and have good friends who live elsewhere but I'm a bit lonely since moving here and it would be good to change that.
A bit about me - I enjoy reading (mostly fiction), animals (I have cats and would love a dog), travelling, cooking, museums, movies and the theatre, going for walks, pub lunches, curries, and drinking endless cups of tea and the occasional glass of wine. I can't keep up with the kids, don't like loud music and clubbing, but am not quite ready for the bingo either (although I'm sure any of that could be fun with good friends). I work full time but would love to find friends to hang out with from time to time at weekends/evenings.
If anyone is interested in meeting up for a coffee that would be great. I hope this doesn't come across as some kind of strange personal ad - I'm a nice and fairly normal (though quite shy) person, honest!
