We are moving to Oxford for DH's work in July this year. I have 2 children who will need to start reception and nursery school in September. I know it will be hard to get them in a school at such late notice and I'm aware of the appeal process to the local authority.
With all of that in mind we are looking for an outstanding primary school that offers a nursery and reception class. My DH will be working South east but we are happy to live anywhere there is a good school.
Our kids love country life so we are keen to live in a small village community. Ideally I'd like to walk the kids to school so DH can take car to work. I'm a stay at home mum.
Cotswolds looks lovely and we have very romantic views of living in the English countryside;) being foreigners we need all the advice you can give us.
If you have any recommendations of good places to live with young children with a good school (government or private), country or Oxford city, please post!
