Has anyone lived here. A great place to visit but I wonder what it's like living there. Seriously considering it

The flooding can be a beggar in bad years - not in terms of houses getting flooded since they did all the work, but the roads get closed and its a long way to the next river bridge.

But I understand its a good place to live, with lots going on for a small town
