Hi - we will be moving to the Busbridge area of Godalmine in June from London. My eldest daughter is 2.5 years and we're visiting three local nurseries / pre-schools for her: Teddy's, The Wharf and Blue Willow. Has anyone had any experiences of them? Good and bad? Advice is appreciated as don't know where to start as i don't know the area too well yet!

Hi, I live in busbridge :)

All of the nurserys are good, blue willow is my favourite out of the 3. They have a lovely outside space and the staff are brilliant, in fact I went there 24 years ago!!! And I plan to send my daughter when she's old enough.

Thank you and glad you said Blue Willow as I've just confirmed a place for her starting in June. It seems lovely and really want her to meet children who will hopefully end up in the same school. Thanks!

PS would you recommend any local playgroups? I'm new to the area and also have a 5 month old so it would be good to meet other mums!

Oh my DD will be 5 months next week! I haven't braved any baby groups yet so not terribly helpful for you. There's one in town called bumps and babies which is supposed to be good but I haven't got round to going yet!

There's some lovely woods good for playing in and a nice park just off busbridge lane. Would be more than happy to show you!

Sounds good, we're moving 20th June. My email address is [email protected]. Maybe e-mail me and we can organise something?

Godalming Octots is a lovely playgroup that welcomes babies and toddlers in St Peter and St Paul's. it runs Monday and Wednesdays from 10-11.30. They have a facebook group.

Happy Bunnies in Milford Village Hall is great, Mondays 9.30-11am there are lots of small babies there up to pre-school age. £2 entry gets you a drink and biscuit also craft and singing!
