Thinking of moving to Maryport

We are thinking of moving to Maryport. Specifically to the houses next to the marina.

Should we do it ??? What is it like living in maryport ?

We have had a good look about and found a house we quite like but not sure about the area.

Any input would be great.

Is there a reason for the west coast? It's not people's usual choice in Cumbria ( for offcomers)
