Leeds areas and schools

Hi, I hope someone can offer some advice! My family and I are moving to Leeds in few months and neither my husband or me are familiar with the area. So I am looking for some insider info on the best areas to live with the best schools. My eldest son will be starting school in September so I really want to find him a good one so we can pick an area to live. I also have a 2 year old boy but I can look for something for him when we get settled. My husband will be working in chapel allerton so that side of Leeds would be good. I look forward to your reading your info. Thanks.

I think you will need to do some ringing round to find out which schools have availability as the places have been allocated. Are you renting to start with?

OP, I have messaged you.

Hi places in reception in Moortown/chapel allerton/roundhay are in short supply, so I second the idea of ringing round schools and perhaps contact the council for advice. It is a lovely area to live though, and a real bonus to be able to walk to work!
