114 children offered no primary school place for September

This Is Our Town Richmond says 114 children have not been given any place. 81% have been given first choice (up from last year), and 91% have been given first three (same as last year). But number of applicants has FALLEN to 2486 from 2510 last year which is surprising.

Looks like a drop of 24 in-borough applications but only five fewer overall, so figures are made up by pupils from other boroughs. Primaries like Lowther and East Sheen have a fair few from neighbouring boroughs, Catholic primaries near the boundaries too as parish boundaries not quite same as borough boundaries.
