Double buggy on Lothian buses?

Hello!

I am thinking of buying a Bugaboo Donkey side-by-side double pushchair but I'm not sure if it would fit on the buses( in Edinburgh). Does anyone have any experience of taking a Bugaboo Donkey or other side-by-side double pram on the Edinburgh buses? If I can't get on a bus with the Donkey I think we'll go for a new Uppababy vista instead which is a tandem inline buggy.

Incidentally, does anyone have any experience of either the Donkey or the new Uppababy Vista (the new 2015 one that can take a newborn carrycot as well as a toddler seat)? Any advice about how easy (or otherwise!) they are to manoeuvre around town would be great!

Thanks! Fiona :)

Hi,Just a quick reply to youre post, I don't have a bugaboo or uppababy buggy but I do have a cosatto double buggy and I too was worried it wouldn't fit on the bus but there is plenty room on the bus and I have seen really big double buggys get on with no problem, so you should be fine :)

Thanks MummyZelle1! After much deliberation I decided to take the plunge and order the Bugaboo, so fingers crossed! :)

I'm pretty sure it fits as I have a babyjogger which does.
