My ds is starting school in September so we're waiting on results too Shock

Hope you all get the places you're after!

what's it like in Kent...I'm waiting here in London but it's my third so fingers crossed for sibling policy! It's so daunting for anyone waiting - I remember only too well a few years ago. Good luck!

For some areas it is really tricky! We live REALLY close to the school so should be fine (unless siblings take all the places!).

we live close too but there are 19 sibilings this year out of 30. so a good chance we wont get it :(

Advice needed on best primary schools in Tonbridge area and outskirts, relocating back to UK from Sydney and hoping for some info. Not familiar with area but will be working in Tonbridge Wells. Thank you!

Amathaunta · 27/05/2015 20:05

Sophiemo2, are you looking for schools in Tonbridge or Tunbridge Wells? In Tonbridge I have been very happy with St Margaret Clitherows, Sussex Road and Slade are also good schools, I don't know the Primary schools in Tunbridge Wells.

jessparkin · 28/05/2015 16:33

Sophiemo2 Tunbridge wells primary schools all pretty good although people are very snotty about some of them. Getting into them is extremely hard though. St James is the only one who lists catchment roads so that gives you some certainty. The others , well let's just say it is very hard unless you live on doorstep. Even then not guaranteed. That said we live in the St. John's area of t wells near the park. It is a great place to live!

Schools worth mentioning are:

St Margaret (catholic)
Slade (near highstreet)
Woodland (north tonbridge)
Stocks Green (hildenborough)
hildenborough CoE

A good free website to find and compare schools:
