Secondaries that are good for drama/performing arts

I don't want to be identifiable so am being deliberately vague, but if you lived in Cambridge (north of river) and had a child who loved performing, where would you send them for secondary, if you could? It's just dawning on me that just going for the most local option might not be the very best option for one of my DC. Don't think we can afford private but would be interested to hear about your experiences of both state and private...

I would guess IVC would be good?

I know it has good facilities. I'd be interested to hear form anyone whose kids have been there and done much performing, or if anyone has seen any of their productions.

Comberton

Comberton recently did a production of Les Mis which was amazing.

My dc are at Comberton and there seems to be lots of performing arts stuff on offer, but most people seem to reckon that IVC is the best bet for drama and dance.

That's all interesting. Thanks very much.
