Hello all mummies, I am a worried mummy.

I am looking for primary schools for our LO. We really like Little Ealing primary school and pretty much settled on that. But I am worried about secondary schools in the area. I know a lot of things can change till it is time for our LO to go to secondary school but I think I am worried I need to make sure there is a good secondary school in the area.

Where do the children go after little ealing?

Any advise? please share your thoughts

thanks

I know it's a while since this was posted but I thought it a couple of points might be useful to others reading this.

You have to live pretty close to Little Ealing to be sure of a place so check with admissions the distance of the furthest place to give you some idea of your chances.

The majority go on to ELthorne Park High School in Hanwell, which is reasonably well thought of and improving but is increasingly popular so if you live to the east or South of Little Ealing you may not get into EPHS.

The remainder are split between church schools, a couple of single sex schools and private schools.

There is a new free school planned for the area, Ealing Fields, but I am not sure if they have managed to secure a site.

This is quite an old thread, but might be useful to other parents.

Most children go to Elthorne Park High School after Little Ealing, pretty much 60/70 per cent or more. A couple go to Drayton Manor, a few to Twyford. Some go private to Notting Hill & Ealing Girls' school and St Benedicts, occasionally Latymer Upper school. If you're Catholic, one or two boys per year head off to Gunnersbury, which is very local to LEPS. Elthorne, however, is by far the most popular choice of secondary school for Little Ealing parents, probably because of how near it is.
