Hi, I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant but as soon as I found out, I stopped exercising as I'm so scared of doing anything that might cause miscarriage. The problem is that I'm getting sluggish and putting on a little weight now, so I want to start exercising again but I'm not sure where to look. I'm not into yoga, but I'd consider swimming, although I can't find any suitable classes near South Edinburgh (I'm not a great swimmer so classes would be ideal). I also want to go back to the gym but my own gym never replied when I sent an email asking what I could do while pregnant, so any advice on that front would be appreciated too! Also, has anyone done any good exercise DVDs during pregnancy? Thanks in advance for any tips!
