Hi, we (myself, husband and 16month old) have just moved to Hawkhurst,Kent after living in Essex for 8 years (born and grew up in Sevenoaks) and really want to join some mother and toddler groups. We did water babies and baby sensory in Essex. From what I can see Tunbridge wells seems the closest to me with a lot of classes around there but does anyone have any recommendations? My little boy loves music and dancing. Any advice and help you can give would be very much appreciated! We need to get out!

Hi Bumble13 - you are right there are loads of baby and toddler groups in and around Tunbridge Wells. I have actually started up a blog which will eventually list all of the groups - at the moment it mainly includes different family activities and events to do around the area.

Anyway, I am sure I can help you out with recommending different toddler groups. Are you looking for the church run ones or classes? Also what age are your kid/kids? xxx

Hello, I'm a Tunbridge Wells NCT teacher. If you join our FB page there are about 750 parents on there to ask: www.facebook.com/groups/ncttunbridgewells/ (you don't have to be an NCT member to join the group or have been to classes). The NCT runs Coffee Connection once a month which is a parent & toddler group, their FB page is here: www.facebook.com/coffeeconnectiongroup?fref=ts and you can also follow us on Twitter @TWNCT Another good site is Tunbridge Wells Kids On The Go: www.tunbridgewellskidsonthego.co.uk Lots of the professional activities will allow you to come along for a free session before signing up to see if you like it, and at Coffee Connection we have a free taster session with one of the local companies each time too. Also, have a look around in Hawkhurst itself as there will certainly be things going on in the town. Hope that helps. Louise

Thank you both. Yes I'm looking for classes. My little boy is 16 months old.
Great, I'll join that group. Thank you. I think I've seen that kids in the go website before, I'll take another look. There just seem to be so many, would like to join some based on great recommendations. Thanks x

Hi Bumble13 - I can highly recommend Toddler Explorers. I currently go to Baby Explorers on a Tues with my youngest son and went to Toddler Explorers too.

There are also Musical Bumps classes on in various locations. I went to the one in Tonbridge and really enjoyed it with my eldest son when he was around your son's age.

I also recently did a trial for Diddi Dance and some of my friends go to it regularly - my son loved this and I found it fun to ;)

I have written about Baby & Toddler Explorers and Diddi Dance on my blog if that's any use to you..... :)
