Chepstow info

Hi

We are looking to move to Chepstow. We currently live near london but originally from South Wales.
We have looked at a few properties online but not really sure what's best for us.
We have a 5yo Dc so want somewhere with a good school. We are not looking for a particularly upmarket area, just a nice area close to local amenities

Any tips or recommendations would be very gratefully received

Good choice, Chepstow is lovely. The A48 divides it, Most of which including the high street is on the North side. the Station, Tesco and neighbouring Bulwark are on the South side. I live in the middle of town, It's a 2 minute walk to Tesco, the river, the castle and a free car park but there is a few pubs so it can be quite noisy at the weekend. At the top of town is Welsh Street it's near co-op, The Dell primary school (which has a good reputation) and the leisure centre. There is also a nice play area nearby and is still fairly close to town.
