If your thinking of taking out membership at One Leisure to tone up for summer or shift post baby pounds do it before April 1st.
Along with increased prices the joint memberships will no longer be on offer & the T&C's are changing meaning the crèche will have to be paid for on top of rather than included in the monthly fee (which would be ok but access the facility only in those hours you would qualify for the discounted silver rate)
The Huntingdon site is due a major refit this year - lets hope they manage to attract the new members to help fund it.
It would be sad to lose the facility's or see it privatised but when the council run leisure centre matches the prices of places like LA fitness it takes away a frequently used community facility. I cant rate the staff or facility's enough & its been sad to watch the decline over recent years.
